Interim funding
New interim funding rates
Interim funding rates have been introduced for Support at Home participants, providing 60% of the total funding for each classification to enable access to essential services while awaiting full package approval.
For Care Management, the 10% is deducted from the interim funding.
SAH extracts
Improved journal entry management
Amendment - Provider has provided a change to invoice item already completed.
Adjustment - Services Australia System has triggered an adjustment to the calculation of this item. Example: a retrospective care recipient contribution change.
The Payment Statement process for Support at Home has been improved to create or update Journal Entries, and update the relevant Extract and Extract Items based on the Payment Item and Payment Item Budget records created from the uploaded Payment Statement file.
When uploading a payment statement for SAH Claims, Lumary now automatically updates the status of related Extract and Extract Item records. Extracts are marked as ‘COMPLETED’, and Extract Items are set to ‘PAID’ with their claim status updated to ‘Paid’. This ensures accurate and up-to-date tracking of claim payments.
Additionally, journal entries will be created or updated for each Payment Item Budget based on the following criteria:
the payment Item’s entitlement type is Current, Amendment, or Adjustment,
there's an existing journal entry for the invoice item, and
whether the journal entry has been included in a client’s monthly statement.
This change enables the processing of different entitlement types to ensure more accurate tracking of adjustments and amendments. Users will see improved handling of variations from past months so these are correctly reflected in client statements. Specifically the deltas between Amount, individual Contribution and Quantity.
Refer to our upload a Support At Home (SAH) Payment Statement file for additional guidance.
Added variations journal entries from past months to monthly statement
The SAH Monthly Statement extract now includes variation Journal Entries from past months that were not previously captured within the Client’s Monthly Statement.
When generating an extract, any relevant Journal Entries before the selected date range without a Client Statement Extract Item will be included. This ensures that monthly statements provide a more complete and accurate record for each client.

Formstack document templates
Enhanced monthly statement template for Support At Home
We’ve introduced a new Formstack Document template for SAH Monthly Statements, providers can now generate detailed monthly statements for Support at Home clients, showing funding available, services delivered, participant contributions, and remaining balances for each calendar month, and any adjustments or refunds.
These statements show opening and closing balances for ongoing services, restorative care, end-of-life pathways, and assistive technology and/or home modifications, helping clients and providers track available budgets and commitments.
This update improves transparency and ensures compliance with new provider requirements for issuing monthly and final statements. It ensures clients have clear, timely visibility of how their quarterly budget is being used and supports compliance with Support At Home requirements.
Smart file uploader
Introducing our new client smart file uploader feature
We’ve introduced a new Smart File Uploader, providing a central, mobile-friendly interface for uploading client files. This improvement streamlines documentation, enhances compliance, and makes it easier to track and locate key client information.
With the Smart File Uploader, from a client record users can simply drag and drop or browse to select a file, choose the relevant file type, and then either link it to an existing open record or create a new record—all from one place. This eliminates the need to navigate across related lists to find or create the correct client-related record for the file.
Available options and actions will depend on the user's object and record type permissions.
Check out our article about adding and storing files on a client's record.
If your organisation uses custom Lightning record pages for client records, you can add the component by following the guidance in this article:
Bug fixes and other changes
The following bug fixes and changes are also included in this release.
General
SAH Extract Bulk Invoice Generation - CSV files generated for SAH Bulk Uploads now use the line ending format CRLF instead of the format LF. This change ensures that CSV files can be uploaded directly into SvA without needing to be resaved in Excel, improving compatibility and making the upload process smoother for users.
Funding Dashboard - Scheduled funding on the Funding Dashboard now correctly includes JSI amounts for Skedulo jobs assigned to an unrestricted Support Category. This ensures that all scheduled services are accurately reflected in the client’s budget.
Extracted Service Delivered - Service Delivered records linked to an SAH Extract can no longer be edited until the associated Extracted Service Delivered record is deleted. This change ensures data integrity and prevents unintended modifications to records that have already been extracted.
Observations - A minor visual issue of unnecessary hyphens being displayed has been fixed on the Latest Observation cards.
Payment statement upload - The payment statement upload process now excludes the "Gross Individual Contribution Amount" column from the CSV file, as this column is not included in the file from Services Australia. Users can now upload payment statements without this column, resolving previous errors and ensuring a smoother upload experience.
