Lumary AC - This article explains how to add a new service funded by Support At Home for inclusion on a SAH service agreements.
Service records are a building block for tracking service delivery and for invoicing or claiming funds. Once you've created your service record, follow the links at the end of this article to find out how to add rates and link services to sites.
Support At Home classifications and budget services and rates are pre-loaded into Lumary and updated when Aged Care pricing changes. You generally shouldn't need to create new classifications and budget services.
To add a new service:
- Click on the Services tab. You may need to click on the App Launcher nine dot icon and search for Services.
Make sure you select the Services option from the Items list in the App Launcher. A search may also list Service under Apps. The app is not the option you're looking for.
- This will open the Services list view. Click on the New button.
- Click on the Support At Home radio button and then click Next.
- This will open the New Service: Support At Home form. Enter the details of your new service.
The following table explains each of the fields on the New Service: Support At Home form. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk. Some fields displayed in your environment may be different, depending on:
- how it has been set up for your business processes, and
- what types of funding you typically claim from.

| * Service Name | The name of the service. |
| Support Category | Services can be organised under categories. Use this field to search for an existing category or create a new one. |
| Service Type | To select options from this list, click on the option under Available and click on the arrow to move the option into the Chosen list. |
| Service Participant Contribution | The Participant Contribution Category for an individual service when this differs from the participant contribution category (Service Type) on the selected Support Category. |
| Participant Contribution Category | The determined Participant Contribution Category based on if the Service Participant Contribution Category is populated, otherwise utilises the Support Categories Participant Contribution Category. |
| Allow Cancellation | Tick this checkbox if when the service is cancelled, the cost of service is claimable. |
| Allow Service Delivery Item Scheduling | Tick this checkbox if the service can be scheduled to automatically create service delivery records. This will display the Auto-generate Service Delivered Records checkbox for service agreement items (SAIs) with this service. |
| Support Item Code | The Service Identifier mapped from the Service List Item, required for reporting services funded by Support At Home to Services Australia. For example: SERV-0061

| Function Code | The Associated Item Function Code mapped from the Service List Item, required for reporting services funded by Support At Home to Services Australia. For example: 04 06

- Once you've filled out the relevant fields, click on the Save button or Save & New if you have more services to add.
For a service to appear in places like service agreements or the Service Delivery Entry screen, you'll also need to:
- Add a new rate type
- Add a rate to a service, and
- Link a service to a site that claims its funding or reports on its delivery.
